Marte Holter Bålerud is a singer with a remarkable voice - she’s sensational, soulful, stylistic, and sleek on the mic. Hailing from Hadeland, Norway, she is also the first local talent picked up by PPXP Records. 

Marte first appeared as a featured artist on the song called «Space-time» from POLYPHONIC EXOPHILIA’s EP Vol.3 in 2021 – the same very EP that would go on to become the Best New Sound of the year on SBS. In large part due to Martes sensational performance on the EPs finale. 

Later in November 2023 she released her solo debut called PPXP SESSIONS on PPXP Records, produced and accompanied by POLYPHONIC EXOPHILIA. With lyrics written by the New York based artist and wordsmith IK.TOMII.
